Matt has experience in the transportation engineering field and is currently a Senior Project Manager at Paradigm. Over his career, he has been involved with a wide variety of projects including transportation impact studies, transportation modeling, transportation demand management, traffic operations, parking studies, traffic calming studies, active transportation, travel surveys, public consultation and project management.

Matt is a graduate of the Civil Engineering program at the University of Waterloo, where he specialized in Transportation Engineering. He is a licenced professional engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario and a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

In his life outside Paradigm, Matt is a columnist for The Curling News, an member of the Board of Directors at the KW Granite Club, and a volunteer coach for youth sports (curling and baseball).
