Kayla Royce

M.Eng., P.Eng.

Transportation Engineer

Kayla began her consulting career in Calgary, Alberta. There she assisted with and led many transportation related studies, establishing a solid foundation in the transportation engineering field.

Choosing to expand her knowledge in the industry, Kayla was accepted into the Cities Engineering and Management program at the University of Toronto. Through this program she developed specialized analytical and management skills that can be used to address unique challenges inherent to cities around the world. Kayla uses this background to approach transportation engineering issues with an innovative and well-rounded perspective.

Now, with over six years of experience in the transportation and civil engineering fields, Kayla works with our clients to provide insightful recommendations that reflect local planning objectives. She has successfully completed trip generation reviews, transportation demand management reports, parking studies, and several transportation impact studies. She has also been responsible for conducting, designing and organizing field data collection; conducting technical analysis; and preparing comprehensive reports. Furthermore, she has been heavily involved with several cycling and active transportation plans for Paradigm.

Outside the office, Kayla is an active member of Young Professionals in Transportation (Toronto Chapter); a nonprofit coalition of organizations which helps further professional development and networking for young professionals.
