Garry Pappin

LEL

Senior Consultant

Garry has over 40 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, and parking. He has managed or played a lead role in transportation impact studies for virtually all types of land uses, environmental assessments for municipal roads and bridges, traffic forecasting and analysis for secondary plans, multi-modal corridor reviews, truck traffic impact and routing assessments, and parking studies. For the past 15 years, he has been retained on a regular basis to conduct technical/peer reviews of transportation and/or parking studies for several Ontario municipalities.

Drawing on this expertise, he has a reputation for developing practical and reasonable solutions for a wide variety of transportation projects and issues. As may be required for more contentious development proposals, Garry is frequently called upon as an expert witness to provide evidence and opinion on transportation planning issues at land use planning tribunals.

As a Senior Consultant, Garry’s responsibilities include providing advice, determining study scope, undertaking and reviewing technical analyses, preparing reports, presenting study findings in technical and public forums, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance.
