Kevin Jones
Senior Consultant - Public Sector Practice Lead, Associate
Kevin brings over 31 years of provincial and municipal government and private consulting experience in transportation planning, municipal engineering and urban planning to his role as Senior Consultant – Public Sector Practice Lead for Paradigm. Over his career, Kevin has undertaken transportation planning, traffic engineering, and safety studies for provincial highways; has successfully completed numerous municipal transportation and infrastructure master plans, class environmental assessments, transportation corridor studies and transportation impact assessments as a consultant project manager; and has most recently managed an integrated municipal transportation division with 200 employees and an annual operating and capital budget of $30 million, delivering public transit, parking, traffic engineering and transportation planning and active transportation services.
Kevin has proven expertise in transportation master planning, travel demand forecasting, active transportation, traffic calming, transportation demand management, traffic engineering, transit planning and operations, parking operations and policy, and infrastructure design and construction. Kevin is also conversant with the land development approvals process and has appeared before the Ontario Municipal Board and other tribunals to provide expert testimony.
Kevin is known as a strategic thinker with a strong business and customer service orientation utilizing his comprehensive knowledge and background in community transportation planning and policy development, combined with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector experience to deliver technical, project management and quality control services on a broad range of assignments. Kevin takes a hands-on approach to developing practical solutions to address current and emerging transportation needs in a community, based on best practices and proven approaches to ensure Paradigm continues to offer professional services that help our partners implement transportation solutions that leave the world better than we found it.
Kevin is an active member of the Transportation Association of Canada and the Ontario Public Transit Association.
